All the frames are in place.  Now we are notching the frames for the keelson. 

The keelson will be a doubled 2x8. 

This building method will mean that after the keelson is in, we'll have to do a lot of bracing and "squaring up'" before adding the chine logs and and the sheer clamps.

The frames are going up as we speak!  All the even numbered ones are in, and one odd one.  Can you spot it?

Brainstorming goes on as to how this pig is gonna be turned over....any ideas?  Has to be done with 1860's technology.
